Clip On Extensometer is a type of extensometer which provides cost effective solution for extension measurement.It includes different gauge length and strain range options to suit a wide range of specimen characteristics.Calibration certificates are supplied, showing the individual performance of each unit at its factory calibration.

SreeKa's (long travel) extensometer is a precise device for measuring strain inhighly extensible materials such as elastomers, and semi-rigid plastics.The high elongation extensometer is designed to clamp directly onto to a specimen quickly and easily. It will adjust to incremental gauge lengths ranging from 10 mm or 20mm or 25mm to 800 mm.The equipment will accommodates up to 10 in of clampdisplacement and is specifically designed to permit testing the sample through rupture without damaging the extensometer or otherwise disrupting the test routine.The extensometer is based on a pair of carefully counterbalanced clamp assemblies which drive a potentiometer through connecting cables. Both clampsmove freely but any increase in the separation or differentialmotion will advance the transducer.The upper and lower specimen clamps are separately counterbalanced and guided on a polished and ground shaft with linear bearings so that none of the extensometer’sweight is applied to the specimen.
Automatic extensometer is used for automatic measurement of specimen extension during tensile tests, including axial and transverse measurement. The axial part can automatically adjust gauge length, clamp and loosen specimen, measure specimen length deformation. The transverse part can automatically clamp and loosen specimen, measure specimen width deformation. Modulus of elasticity, percentage elongation at fracture, plastic strain ratio(r) and tensile strain hardening exponent (n) of sheet metal and thin strip are determined according to the measured value.
